For many Deaf people across Africa, barriers such as limited access to education, isolation, and communication challenges make it difficult to access both learning opportunities and the Christian faith. Christian Mission for the Deaf exists to bridge that gap by sharing the Gospel in accessible ways and empowering Deaf communities through education and leadership.

Since its founding by Andrew Foster in 1956, the organisation has trained local Christian leaders and Deaf educators across Africa, creating lasting impact through faith, education, and community development.
