SIGNED, SEALED, DELIVERED

At Hand in Hand, communication is at the heart of everything we do. We provide a warm, professional range of access services including CSW, subtitling, notetaking, interpreting, and translation, helping Deaf and hard of hearing people connect with confidence.

Rooted in lived experience and guided by care, we work across healthcare, education, business, legal, entertainment, and public services to make communication clearer, kinder, and more inclusive

Hi, my name is Bukola Adedeji and I am the founder of Hand in Hand.

At Hand in Hand, we understand the power of communication because it runs in our family. As the child of two deaf parents, this mission is deeply personal. We are passionate advocates for the deaf and hard of hearing, committed to creating connections where words alone may fall short. Our agency was founded to bridge the gap across all major sectors, providing exceptional British Sign Language (BSL) interpreting and translation services nationwide.

With a diverse and talented bank of interpreters, we bring confidence and professionalism to every interaction. Our team is dedicated to facilitating conversations that matter, whether in healthcare, education, business, legal, entertainment, or public services. We believe effective communication is a right, not a privilege, and we work tirelessly to break down barriers that prevent full participation.

Hand in Hand is more than an agency. We are a movement toward inclusion, understanding, and empowerment. Every sign, every gesture, and every conversation is handled with unwavering commitment to clarity, respect, and sensitivity. We strive not only to interpret words but to convey meaning and emotion, ensuring that the deaf and hard of hearing community is heard, understood, and valued throughout the UK.

Together, we are stronger. Together, we go Hand in Hand.

Our Services

BSL/English Interpreter

BSL Interpreters provide vital access for Deaf people whose preferred or first language is BSL, enabling them to participate on an equal basis with hearing peers. They also support hearing professionals, colleagues, friends, and family members who need to communicate clearly with Deaf BSL users.

Communication Support

CSWs support Deaf and hard of hearing children, young people, and adults who may use BSL, sign‑supported English, speech, or a combination of communication methods. They also assist teachers, tutors, and employers by helping them communicate effectively with Deaf learners or staff and by clarifying how to make information more accessible.

Electronic Notetakers

Electronic Notetakers provide invaluable support to those who are deaf or hard of hearing and who are confident readers of written English.

Deaf Awareness Courses

Our Deaf Awareness training helps London‑based organisations communicate more confidently and respectfully with Deaf and hard of hearing people. We deliver practical, engaging sessions that give your staff the knowledge and skills they need to offer truly accessible services.
